History is shaped by our hands.

In case you didn't know already, I'm working at Daytona Beach Bike Week this week. Its a great opportunity because you get to work for 8 hours and then have fun in an amazing atmosphere with some great weather. There's a routine to things around here if you are a staff member of my company. You work until 5:00. Meet in the lobby at 5:30 for dinner. After dinner we return to the hotel to plan and execute the REAL activities of the night.
Now, I'm not a heavy party guy. I don't even drink, but every once in a while I enjoy going out with my friends and viewing their lifestyle safely from the sober sidelines. I was looking forward to it this time, because I haven't been in Daytona for 2 years.


So what do I end up doing out here? I race back to my room after dinner, plug in my laptop, and log onto AOL Instant Messenger. All I want to do is get online and talk to a very special someone that I met right here in the land of Mindsay.


The trip to Daytona that I spend most of my free time in the hotel room is going to be the trip that I look back on the most fondly.
