History is shaped by our hands.

Today on my way into work I noticed a rainbow in the sky when I was looking over my shoulder to make a lane change. I immediately smiled big and relaxed. I had not seen a rainbow in almost 10 years and it just felt really good.

It was almost as if it was a sign. I may be going through some really big changes in my life in the next few weeks. I've been nervous about some of the decisions that would have to be made and the immense amount of work that will come with those decisions. But seeing that rainbow just as I had all of these things running through my mind sent a wave of calm and peace through my body. It was very freeing and helped me to realize I'm not the first person that has made these decisions... and I wouldn't be the last.

And then as I'm smiling and relaxing in the car I notice the other side of the rainbow. I looked again and I could see the whole thing! I have never in my life seen the complete arch of a rainbow. In fact, I was sure that something like that was impossible. Just when I'm confused and scared about my future, I see something beautiful that I've never experienced before. It told me to stop worrying about the future and just make the choices that seem right. The future is unexpected, full of surprises, and beautiful. I just need to make my decisions and ride them out. There may be a lot of work and inconvenience in the short-term, but look what the future may hold for me. I just have to run with it.

Or... Mother Nature was just fucking with me.
