History is shaped by our hands.

Supposedly, last night's episode of "Mad Men" was a real doozy (link may contain spoilers).  It's the penultimate episode of the season and I'm watching it when I get home from work.   The proverbial steam whistle cannot blow soon enough.

In sadly related news, I tried to find an image capture of the whistle blowing during the opening credits of "The Flintstones" to accompany this entry.  Either that, or one of Fred sliding down the dinosaur's tail on the way to his car.  I was taken aback by the number of costumes for naughty Betty Rubble and naughty Wilma Flintstone I found during this very innocent image hunt.  Not disgusted by them, mind you.  Just caught a little off guard.
