History is shaped by our hands.

As I drove into work this morning, my mind made it a point to completely freak me out.

I thought I saw a pool of blood in the middle of the road in my subdivision.
I also thought I saw a clear garbage bag full of body parts near the sidewalk.
In addition, I thought I saw the back half of an animal sitting in an intersection.
Out of my subdivision as I drove towards the highway, I was convinced that I saw bloody tire tracks in the road.

4 days ago I read the graphic novel "30 Days of Night".  It's a story about vampires invading a town in Alaska where it will be dark for 30 days.  This allows them to roam freely for a month, not having to worry about the vampire-killing nature of the sun's rays.  The art style was incredible and the premise was truly scary.

I think my imagination had a little too much fun with me this morning.
