History is shaped by our hands.

So, I haven't written anything in MY blog for a few days, but I assure you I've been replying to others. I've just been busy and had a lot of personal stuff going on. Personal stuff that at the time I just wanted to share with my best friends (Chilly and Nomad). Since then the personal stuff has cleared up, everything's cool, and maybe someday I'll blog it. Until then, on with the useless post.
Last night I got my new G5 PowerMac. Its cool. You won't find the one I got at the link, though. I bought one that was discontinued. Its exactly like the Dual 1.8 except it is a Single 1.8. And I added another 512 MB of RAM. 1 GB of RAM. I don't know what to do with it.
The only thing that sucks about it so far is that the gorgeous little Harmon-Kardon Pro Audio Speakers that I have don't work with the G5. They have a proprietary connector that only works with G4 models. So, I had to order a $40 adapter. Grrrr... I could just use the speaker in the G5, but why waste such beautiful-sounding, powered Harmon-Kardon speakers. Its a no-brainer.
Other than that, it rocks. I thought my old G4 was still pretty fast, despite being 3 years old. Wow, was I wrong. The G5 leaves it in the dust. Its unreal how fast applications open on it. I'm in Mac-geek heaven.
