So here I am... seat 5C on my way to Orlando. I don't know if I'm just tired or I'm just not in the mood to fly today, but this flight seems to be taking forever. I used to fly a lot for my job, so flights just whizzed by. Nope... not tonight.
I'm actually doing work right now. Can you believe that? I'm officially on vacation until Sunday and I'm doing work. I must be bored... or insane. Actually, I'm too tired to read the book I brought along, so work it is. I'm never too tired to work.
Oooh... turbulence. That was "fun". Fasten seat-belt sign is back on. It must be stormy over Tennessee tonight.
Anyway, I'm one of those "geek guys" on the flight. I've got my iPod sitting next to me, blasting Pearl Jam so I don't have to hear babies or unruly kids. I've got my laptop out and I'm working; well, I was working. As I look around, I see other laptops out, but those people are all watching movies. I've got JBuilder open and I'm trying to figure out why there's an issue with the shopping cart on the web site I support. Oooh, 5A and 5B are watching "The Italian Job". Oooh, there's Seth Green. Sweet.
Well, by the time I post this, it will be hours after I have written it. I'm NOT paying what they are asking to get internet access up here at 32,000 feet. No way, Jose! I'm going to save this, land, check out my parent's new house, and then post. That is, if they let me use their DSL.
Here come the bumps, again. It must be stormy over Atlanta, too.
